Promises to the Moon is an atmospheric, layered painting that explores the feeling of moving through a forest of memories, promises, and possibilities. Tall, fractured forms weave through a luminous landscape, their tangled branches creating a sense of both confinement and discovery. A glowing golden moon emerges through the trees, offering a quiet point of focus and hope.
Rich greens, turquoise, crimson, magenta, and deep earthy tones build the landscape through layers of acrylic ink, oil, and cold wax. The marks are spontaneous and energetic, while softer areas of light and color create depth and a dreamlike sense of place.
The painting invites you to linger—to find your own meaning in the paths, intersections, and that persistent moonlight beyond the trees.
